Fastened to the MakinaBOX™ carrier, the board glides in a slot. It moves horizontally until the connectors on the board are perfectly aligned with those of the backplane.	The machanism integrated into the carrier causes the vertical movement required for the board's connection.

The patented MakinaBOX™ mechanism allows the insertion and the extraction of a board without opening the chassis.
